PREVENTION
For appointed confidential counsellors who want to keep their knowledge and skills up to date and comply with the requirement to participate in supervision or peer consultation at least once a year.
Are you working as a confidential counsellor within your organisation? This annual supervision and peer consultation session allows you to refresh and further develop your knowledge and practical skills through real workplace situations. In a confidential setting, you exchange experiences with other confidential counsellors and discuss situations encountered in your role.
You will discuss practical cases and have the opportunity to confidentially present internal workplace situations to fellow confidential counsellors. Together, you explore possible approaches and practise different communication and interviewing techniques. The sessions are supervised by a trainer who works as a prevention advisor specialising in psychosocial aspects. Depending on the selected session, a specific topic may be explored in greater depth, such as stress, constructive communication, professional confidentiality, self-care or trust.
