EARTHMOVING
For participants with no previous experience or only limited practical experience operating a fixed telehandler. The course starts with the fundamentals and provides sufficient time to learn and practise the essential operating skills safely.
This 3-day training course is designed for operators with limited experience operating a fixed telehandler. You will build on your existing basic knowledge and have additional time to practise the essential driving, manoeuvring and stacking techniques.
You will learn how to operate a fixed telehandler safely, correctly and efficiently. The course covers operator safety and responsibilities, different types of telehandlers and their applications, daily checks and basic maintenance, load charts and lifting accessories, and stability and balance. During the practical training, you will extensively practise driving and manoeuvring techniques, safely picking up and moving loads, and precision stacking. The 3-day format provides sufficient time to further develop your technique, control and accuracy.
