LIFTING OPERATIONS
For employees who already have limited practical experience operating a fast-erecting crane but require additional training and practice to operate the crane safely, confidently and independently. The 2-day format provides additional time to practise the essential techniques and further develop your knowledge and practical skills.
Do you already have some experience operating a fast-erecting crane but want to further develop your knowledge and practical skills? This 2-day training course teaches you how to operate the crane more safely, accurately and efficiently. The extended practical training gives you sufficient time to further develop your operating technique, confidence and control.
You will learn how to operate a fast-erecting crane safely and responsibly. The course covers operator safety and responsibilities, different types of fast-erecting cranes and their applications, daily checks and basic maintenance, load charts and lifting accessories, and stability and balance. During the practical training, you will extensively practise operating and controlling the crane, lifting and moving loads safely and positioning loads accurately. Communication and signalling are also covered. You will also receive practical tips to work more efficiently and improve productivity.
