Do you work on or near electrical installations and already have electrical knowledge? This BA5 high-voltage training teaches you how to correctly assess the risks associated with electrical work and apply the necessary safety measures. In addition to low voltage, particular attention is given to high-voltage installations and safe switching operations.
You will learn how to work safely on electrical installations and gain an understanding of applicable legislation, responsibilities and electrical hazards. The course covers low voltage, switching and protection equipment, overloads, short circuits and fault analysis. You will also learn how to correctly use work equipment and PPE, safely carry out maintenance work and respond appropriately in emergency situations. High voltage is a specific part of this course. At suitable practical training locations, high-voltage switching operations may also be covered
