For employees who operate or will operate a wheeled excavator. The course is suitable for both participants with no previous experience and experienced operators who want to further develop or improve their knowledge and practical skills.
This 2-day training course teaches you how to operate a wheeled excavator safely, efficiently and correctly. The course is suitable for both participants with no previous experience and operators who already have practical experience. You will learn not only how to work safely, but also how to excavate, level and backfill efficiently.
You will learn how to operate a wheeled excavator safely and responsibly. The course covers operator safety and responsibilities, different types of excavators and their applications, daily checks and basic maintenance, load charts and lifting equipment, stability and balance, and correct driving and manoeuvring techniques. During the practical training, you will practise excavating, digging, levelling and backfilling. Attention is also given to improving working efficiency and machine productivity. The course consists of approximately 30% theory and 70% practical training.
